Building a wildly successful internet business is just like any other business. It takes a lot of time, dedication and focused concentration.
You have to begin with the end in mind. And remember, you aren’t the only one to be struggling out there. Every one of us successful internet marketers started where you are at right now. We also wondered if it was really worth it, if things would really pan out, if maybe flipping burgers would somehow just be easier and less stress.
I know you’ve been working hard on building your business, or maybe you’ve only just been thinking about it and truly afraid to put your stamp out there on the world. I’m sure you’ve worked hard trying many different things but nothing seems to be really making a dent.
There’s only one thing that separates you from those of us who are making millions online. And that’s the stick-to-itnes I talk about in Mastering the Kung-Fu Chameleon.
Whether you’re only a month in or 6 months in, I can say with assurance that it hasn’t been long enough for you to see any substantial return on your time. Earning a good amount of money online might take longer, and it might likely a lot longer than you would imagine it would.
Just keep in mind this one thing – your net worth is directly tied to your sense of self-worth. If you aren’t making it – just get up, go to the bathroom and really look at yourself in the mirror. Really ask yourself – Am I Worth It?
Every person is unique and has unique abilities and talents, and what might work for one person may not work for another. So, just because you know someone that may have “made it big” in only a few short months, doesn’t mean you’ll do the same.
Everyone is different. And everything works out on its own, perfect timeline.
The really great news is that as long as you stick with it and don’t give up, your day will come. You are not alone in this. We have all been there, and we will always remember our early days of famine before our feasts.
During my time online I’ve watched a fair number of people who gave up right before they built a huge success. They just tossed in the towel and walked back down the mountain they only just started to climb.
Maybe that’s how you feel right now. But, before you make any big decisions, let me ask you just three questions:
- Why are you here, now?
- What is your BIGGEST, MOST COMPELLING REASON WHY?
- Why are you willing to give up on your biggest reason WHY?
If you sit down and ponder those, you’ll realize something very profound. Give yourself some time to think about it.
