Spiritual Awakenings for the Golden Age

Lose Yourself in Service to Others

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.  ~ Gandhi

Today’s Inspiration is about losing ourselves in service to others. What does that mean to you? How could you find yourself by losing yourself?
Unselfish kindness and generosity give depth and meaning to your life and, above all sustain and dignify the lives of others, no matter where they are in their own life path? How does this help you find yourself?
In being of service to others, you find the most clarifying expressions of humility, the greatest depth of feeling, the most heart-broadening, softening and transforming experiences you will ever encounter. It is in this service you will find how connected you truly are to every living entity and how flawed the entire conception of separateness and rugged individualism really is.

In this regard, no selfless acts are insignificant, and no person in need of assistance will ever be too lowly for your time, your devotion, your love and your attention.

Unselfish service is marked by humility, a hard-to-find trait in this age of egoism, individualism, satire, sarcasm and incivility. More often than not, too many of us are guilty of all these things.

Namaste my friends.
